Meeting 412 -" Iconic Wines and their Histories"

Speaker: Neill McKenzie (Ellis)
Friday 23rd March 2018: Neville Hall, Waltham St Lawrence

The wines Neill presented are given below, together with the scores they received. It was interesting that two of them were awarded an unusually wide range. For each wine Neill gave an interesting and well prepared treatise on the history of the wines of the region.
A different, entertaining and informative approach. This was well received. Mark's food was outstanding: stripped beef in red wine and bone marrow jus with roast potatoes. This was followed by a selection iof cheeses to accompany the port. (Jules Graham)
